Hatchet & Axe 2002 Ford F-250 Super Duty

Project Details

The owner of Hatchet & Axe Company, an axe throwing entertainment business in Lancaster, PA brought us his pristine bone stock Super Duty to transform into an attention-grabbing showpiece and billboard. His business has both a physical location and a travel-trailer he takes to events for on-site axe throwing! He wanted a truck that would be both functional and eye catching. We’re super pumped about how this Super Duty turned out!

We started out by re-gearing the truck to 4.88 ratio to help turn the massive 38″ tall Nitto tires we’re installing.  20×9″ Black Rhino wheels in a blue and black finish look killer on this rig with the wrap the owner had done!  Next we installed a Rough Country 6″ suspension lift, along with pocket style flares.  The front and rear were really transformed with the beautiful FabFours Red Steel bumpers and accessory lights from Rigid Industries and KC Lighting.  Controlling the lighting we have an MLC from Rough Country.  We also fit a 12,000 lb winch in the front bumper with a nice red Factor55 Ultrahook.  Making entry and exit from the raised truck easier, we’ve got some DeeZee aluminum steps.

We also sprayed our Rhino Liner Premium spray-on bedliner to protect the interior of the truck bed, and installed a Wilco universal bed spare tire carrier as a functional and safe way to keep the matched spare securely mounted in the bed.  Rounding out the modifications is an MBRP cat-back 4″ exhaust system which sounds fantastic!  Be sure to watch the video of the truck to hear that V10 rumble.
