2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Metalcloak Transformation

Project Details

This Jeep came to us rocking some dealer-installed modifications. After a few hard wheeling trips, the owner knew it was time for some major upgrades.  We transformed this JL Rubicon by installing a Metalcloak 3.5″ Gamechanger lift with Fox Performance Series 2.0 shocks.  Adding to the beef, we also mounted the Metalcloak chromoly steering and sector shaft brace.  Rounding out the driveline upgrades, we have Tom Woods driveshafts front and rear as well as Revolution 4.88 gears.  This Rubicon rolled out on 37″ Toyo Open Country R/T Trail tires mounted to Dirty Life DT-2 convertible beadlock wheels.  These are super cool because though they currently have the plastic rash ring installed, they can easily mount up as a true beadlock with an aluminum ring in it’s place.  On the back of the Jeep we installed a Teraflex Alpha HD hinged spare tire carrier to confidently carry the extra weight.  Finally, we gave this JL a power steering upgrade from APEX Designs to help keep those 37’s pointed in the desired direction.
